The Chinese automaker Lifan is perhaps the champion of the planet in terms of the frequency of updating its models: the popular front-wheel-drive crossover X60 only in the summer of 2015 underwent a slight upgrade that affected the exterior and technical "stuffing", and a year later it was overtaken by another restyling, which affected the exterior and interior decoration. Moreover, in the Russian market, sales of the 2017 model year car started already in December 2016.
Formally, Lifan X60 has not changed much - it just replaced the radiator grille and bumpers. But in the end, the SUV began to look much more modern and attractive: the abundance of broken lines added brutality to the car's appearance, and the "shield" of the grille with a massive bar exalted a bit of solidity.
The stern of the five-door was made a little more sporty, decorating it with two “fake” holes for the exhaust pipes.
The length of the updated SUV from the Middle Kingdom is 4325 mm, and its width and height, respectively, fit into 1790 mm and 1690 mm. The wheelbase of the vehicle is 2600 mm of the overall length, and the ground clearance in "combat" form does not exceed 179 mm.
Inside, the restyled Lifan X60 has retained the recognizable architecture, but has received a rethought center console, the "honorable" place on which is the color touchscreen of the multimedia system, and under it is a nice air conditioning unit.
The interior of the car has become more modern and pleasant to look at.
There are no other changes in the "apartments" of the five-door - solid finishing materials, a five-seat layout and a luggage compartment with a volume of 405 liters in a "stowed" form.
Specifications. The 2017 Lifan X60 is still armed with a 1.8-liter petrol four with a vertical configuration, multi-point power supply and VVT-I technology (gas distribution phase adjustment), which develops 128 horses at 6000 rpm and 162 Nm of limiting torque at 4200 rpm.
The power flow to the front wheels is sent via a 5-speed "manual" transmission or a continuously variable variator.
The capabilities of the car have not changed after the update: the crossover spends 14.5 seconds to set the first "hundred", its "maximum speed" is 170 km / h, and the "eating" of fuel does not exceed 8.2 liters in the "highway / city" mode.
Technically, the restyled Lifan X60 repeats its pre-reform "brother": a front-wheel drive platform with independent suspension of both axles (MacPherson struts in front and a three-link system in the rear), hydraulic power steering and four-wheel disc brakes (front with ventilation) with ABS and EBD.
Options and prices. In the Russian market, Lifan X60 2017 model year can be purchased in four solutions: "Basic", "Standart", "Comfort" and "Luxury". The basic version is offered at a price of 679,900 rubles, and for the "top" version they ask from 839,900 rubles (the surcharge for the variator, which is available starting with "Comfort" - 70,000 rubles).
- The "basic" crossover boasts: two airbags, electric outside mirrors, four power windows, an audio system, power steering, ABS and EBD systems.
- In the "Standard", to those already listed, added: heated driver's seat, air conditioning and fog lights.
- "Comfortable" crossover flaunts: crankcase protection, leather seats, heated outside mirrors, heated passenger seats, parking sensors (rear), light-alloy wheels R17 ″, chrome door handles and a decorative trim on the engine.
- And the privileges of the "Lux" are: a multifunctional steering wheel, a multimedia system with a touch screen and 6 speakers (including navigation and a rear-view camera), a sunroof.
