The Range Rover SV Coupe is an all-wheel drive luxury SUV of the full-size category and, in combination, a special three-door version of the British brand's flagship SUV, developed by the efforts of the specialists of the court tuning studio Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) ... It is addressed to the wealthy people who value exclusivity and uncompromising luxury , but at the same time they want to drive a full-fledged "rogue" ...

"The world's first full-size coupe" (this is how it is positioned in the company itself) The Range Rover SV Coupe, released in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Land Rover brand and referring to the original "Range" (it was a three-door), debuted on March 6, 2018 - at the international the Geneva Motor Show.

The car borrowed the "stuffing" from the five-seater "brother", but surpassed it in terms of exclusivity.

Outside, Range Rover SV Coupe is definitely not to be confused with any of the other SUVs - it attracts the eye with gigantic dimensions, brightened up with a modern, noble and seductive design.

Of course, it differs from the five-seater model in a three-door body with enlarged doorways, doors devoid of window frames, a lowered roofline and a different front end decor.

In terms of dimensions, this is a full-size SUV that measures 5,013 mm in length, 1,794 mm in height and 2,073 mm in width. The car has a wheelbase of 2922 mm, and its standard ground clearance is 263 mm.

The curb weight of the three-door does not exceed 2497 kg, and its gross weight is 3160 kg.

The front of the Range Rover SV Coupe has remained intact compared to its five-door “brother” - beautiful and thoroughbred design, impeccably adjusted ergonomics, the highest level of workmanship and luxurious finishing materials (genuine leather, wood, aluminum, etc.).

The interior of the exclusive SUV is designed strictly for four people: both front and rear are equipped with comfortable seats, separated by a central tunnel, with an ergonomic profile, electric adjustment, ventilation and heating.

The engine compartment of the Range Rover SV Coupe contains a 5.0 liter V-shaped gasoline engine with a compressor, a distributed power system, exhaust and intake phase shifters and a 32-valve timing belt that generates 565 horsepower at 6000-6500 rpm / minute and 700 Nm of torque at 2500-5500 rpm.

As a standard, the three-door is equipped with an 8-band "automatic" and an all-wheel drive transmission with intelligent traction distribution, a two-stage transfer case and locking differentials. In addition to this, the car boasts the Terrain Response 2 system, which adjusts the technique to the current driving conditions.

The Range Rover SV Coupe has impressive driving characteristics: it accelerates to a maximum of 266 km / h, and fires from zero to the first 100 km / h after 5.3 seconds.

In combined mode, an SUV consumes at least 13.7 liters of fuel for every 100 kilometers.

Structurally, the three-door completely and completely repeats the standard Range Rover: an all-aluminum body at the base, independent suspensions of both axles (front double-lever and rear multi-link) with pneumatic elements, steering mechanism with adaptive electric power steering and ventilated disc brakes of four wheels with the "darkness" of modern assistants.

Only 999 copies of Range Rover SV Coupe will see the light, and about 10% of them will settle in Russia. In their homeland, an SUV is sold at a price of 240 thousand pounds (~ 19 million rubles), about the same, most likely, they will ask for it in our country.

The three-door will receive an equally impressive list of standard and optional equipment as its five-door "brother".
